Baddies : 'Holler For My Holiday'

Overlooking the fairly poor name, Baddies are a rather shiny gem in a bowl of tedious samey generic indie pebbles. More aggressive than your usual, Baddies come across like the bastard children of Dead Kennedy’s, had the latter been faintly more competent muscians and indie sensibilites. Angular riffs cavort with lively drums and brash vocals in a thrashingly pleasing fashion during the two and a half minute blast of noise.

Flipside, 'Handshake', takes the single in a slightly more indie route, with more restrained riffs and a vocally hook laden chorus. A short and punchy piece that dives right in, reels you in with it and leaves you bemused and vaguely wondering what just happened, but wanting a whole lot more.
